Moon calendar: September 2026
Every day with the Moon's phase and sign, in Tbilisi time. Pick a day to see what tradition suggests: what to start, what to avoid and when to cut your hair.
Favourable day Caution day
A day is favourable when the Moon is in harmony with Jupiter or Venus, and one for caution when it is in tension with Saturn or Mars, when a planet changes direction, or on an eclipse.
At 12:01 the Moon enters Taurus
The Moon begins to wane and energy turns from outward to inward. It is a time to share, teach and digest what you have learned. A good moment to thank the people who helped you along the way.
With the Moon in Aries energy rises and patience drops. These are days for quick decisions and bold beginnings. Just watch your words: tempers flare easily.
Good for
- Share your knowledge
- Tidy the house and your to-do list
- Clear out what you no longer need
- Return to old commitments
- Starting something new
- Active workouts
- A bold move
- Clearing quick tasks
Avoid
- Launching a big new project
- Lecturing people who did not ask
- Overspending your energy
Haircut: Neutral. Traditionally a neutral day for a haircut: hair grows fast, but the style doesn't hold for long. Traditionally hair cut on a waning Moon grows more slowly and keeps the style's shape for longer.
Moon phases
- New Moon
The New Moon opens a fresh cycle: the Moon is almost invisible and energy gathers inward. Traditionally it is the best time to make a wish and write down a plan. Quiet, but powerful.
- Waxing Crescent
A thin crescent appears and energy slowly builds. The idea you planted now asks for a first step. Tradition says a waxing Moon helps anything that is meant to grow.
- First Quarter
Half the Moon is lit and it is time to act. The first obstacle often shows up now to test your decision. Don't back down: this phase rewards courage.
- Waxing Gibbous
The Moon is nearly full and results are close. It is a time to refine, improve and be patient. Tradition says the body absorbs everything more readily now, so pay attention to food and sleep.
- Full Moon
The Full Moon is the peak of the cycle: emotions run high, intuition sharpens and a lot comes to the surface. Traditionally it is a time to see results and give thanks. Some people sleep badly on these nights, and that is perfectly normal.
- Waning Gibbous
The Moon begins to wane and energy turns from outward to inward. It is a time to share, teach and digest what you have learned. A good moment to thank the people who helped you along the way.
- Last Quarter
Half the Moon is lit again, but now it is shrinking. This is the phase of release and forgiveness: whatever no longer serves you can go. Tradition says bad habits are easier to drop in these days.
- Waning Crescent
These are the last days of the cycle and energy is at its lowest. Rest, sleep and quiet reflection suit them best. Don't be hard on yourself if you feel tired: your body is getting ready for a new cycle.
