A flag in coffee grounds: what does it mean?
- victory
- warning
- announcement
- leadership
A flag in coffee grounds is a double sign. By tradition it means either victory and a goal reached, or a warning to pay attention to something.
What does a flag in a coffee cup mean?
A flag in the cup is a signal: something important is happening or about to. It often means victory, leadership and news made public. Sometimes it tells you to size up the situation well before you act.
Where does a flag appear: rim, bottom or handle?
Near the rim, a victory or an important announcement is said to be close. At the bottom it is a result reached after a long struggle. By the handle it is an important event in the family.
Big, small or blurry: what changes the meaning?
A waving flag means success and energy. A drooping flag is traditionally a warning to wait and approach things carefully. A flag on a mountain top is a strong sign of reaching your goal.
The flag and your next steps
The flag advises taking the initiative and stating your position openly. If something is bothering you, now is a good time to say so.
