What are transits?

A transit is where a planet is today, measured against your natal chart. Your chart is the sky at the minute you were born and never changes, while the planets keep moving. When they form a strong angle to your Sun, Moon or Ascendant, astrology reads it as that part of your life becoming active.

Here you see today's sky around your own chart: where each planet stands and which aspects it makes to your planets. Harmonious aspects point to openings; tense ones show where you need more attention and patience.

Transits need your birth date, time and city. Sign up for free, add your details and you get a fresh picture every day.
